Hours of Operation
Faculty and Staff may check-out books between 8:30-4:30. Students are encouraged to visit the library during morning circulation from 8:45-9:15 and during regularly scheduled library classes. Our library uses Follett’s Destiny program which provides an online database used to search for book titles and their location in the library. This program also allows students to search for library books from home. Students are encouraged to create lists at home and bring them in for quick access to resources and recreational reading materials.

Parents
The foundations of future reading begin the minute you begin reading aloud to your child. They really are watching you! Observing a parent and/or other people important in their lives reading also helps to increase the chances that your child will become a lifelong reader. Reading is the single most important activity you can participate in with your child to increase their chances of school success. Learn your child's reading level and read, read, read!
Practice reading everyday. Jokes, riddles, poetry, cookbooks, comics and other text presented in short segments are very appealing to children. Cooking with your child is a wonderful reinforcement to reading recipes together. Remember reading is a gift, something that your child will use everyday for the rest of their lives!
Library books issued to students are the responsibility of parents. Any book lost or damaged must be paid for before the student is allowed to check out additional books. (This carries over from year to year.)
