The Lexile Framework for Reading - The Lexile Framework is an innovative approach to reading comprehension that can be used by educators, parents, and readers of all ages. Lexiles take the guesswork out of selecting targeted books and articles that can help to improve reading skills by matching readers with appropriate texts.

EDSITEment - EDSITEment is a joint project of the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Council of the Great City Schools, MCI Communications Corp., and the National Trust for the Humanities. The site offers online lesson plans for teaching English language and other subject areas for grades K-12.

Educator's Language Arts Lesson Plans - The Educator's Language Arts Lesson Plans, formerly known as AskERIC, provides a collection of more than 100 lesson plans covering literature, reading, spelling, and other language arts topics contributed by teachers for grades K-12. Each lesson plan features an overview, purpose, objectives, activities, and resource materials.

English Online - English Online, developed by Unitech in the Schools and the New Zealand Ministry of Education, provides 150 oral, visual, and written English Language arts lesson plans for grades K-12.
